BPA Exposure in the Womb may harm Male Children

Exposure to environmental levels of the industrial chemical bisphenol A, or BPA, in the womb and early life may cause long-lasting harm to testicular function, according to a new study conducted in animals.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) said Wednesday that it plans to pull 500 unapproved prescription cough, cold, and allergy medicines from pharmacy shelves because the medicines have not been evaluated by the FDA for safety and effectiveness.
