If you read what the media says, losing weight and keeping it off is extremly challanging. However, you can lose weight and keep it off if you have a plan. The # key to effective weight loss, in my opinion, is knowing what you are putting into your mouth.
Use a logbook to track how many calories you consume, as well as how many grams of carbohydrates, fat, protein and the types of each. This will serve several purposes.
- First you will see what you are eating now, and how many calories it takes to maintain your current physique.
- Two it will serve as a reminder to eat.
